ADSUM is Community
When I first started in the industry I was frustrated by the lack of networking opportunities. I came from the real estate industry which has a very mature networking and community structure. Realtors have communities, flippers, wholesalers, rehabbers, landlords all have dozens if not hundreds of groups. But if you sold products direct to consumers and used affiliates to facilitate that, you were a ship in the middle of the ocean at night with no one in sight. From that frustration my group started growing, I’d met other advertisers at trade shows, through reluctant introductions from industry partners at first. Eventually the Continuity Council was born, that went on for several years and gave birth to ADSUM. All year long the ADSUM community thrives. Advertisers helping advertisers, industry partners helping each other as well. It’s been great to watch. If you are the kind of person that thinks there are lessons to be learned from the people around you and you are also willing to contribute, then I’d encourage you to apply for admission into the ADSUM Slack here.
We also have a closed Facebook group of VIP members here.
See you on the inside.
